Like traditional army tanks, Mitzva Tanks are mobile and transient. These Recreational Vehicles are dispatched from our headquarters in Upper Nazareth, deployed to the “front lines” of any Jewish neighborhood in need. Through weekly visits and ongoing programs, Mitzva Tanks are aptly called “mobile community centers.” They’re compact in size, but enormous in impact! Mitzva Tanks provide “on-the-spot” support to people who couldn’t (or wouldn’t) find it otherwise, attracting attention with its bold slogans, colorful images, and lively music.
In addition to their very visible activity, Mitzva Tanks operate quietly when needed, discreetly delivering food to the doorsteps of families facing financial crises. YOUR SUPPORT mobilizes the Mitzva Tanks’ “on-road” outreach, driving it to the very people and places where it’s needed most.
